DJT Property Services has been trading for close to thirty years. It started with a plastering apprenticeship and now covers tree work, landscaping, building work and property maintenance across four counties. The person who quotes your job is the person who turns up to do it.

It started with a plastering apprenticeship.
I served my time as a plasterer and then went self employed, partly because I wanted to work my own hours. That was 1995. I have been at it ever since.
Plastering is still on the list, alongside landscaping, property maintenance, building work, commercial repairs and waste removal, which we clear under a registered waste carrier licence. Tree work is the one I enjoy most, and it takes up a good part of most weeks now, from one overgrown conifer to full tree surgery on a large garden.
There is plenty of competition in tree work. I would rather compete on doing it properly: certificated for the climbing and the chainsaw work, insured, and in the right safety gear every time I go up.

On price
I keep my word on price.
The thing most people worry about when they get a tradesman in is the price moving once the work has started. So here is how we do it. The price I quote is the price you pay. If something changes on site, if we open something up and find a problem underneath, you hear it from me straight away and before any more work happens. Not at the end, and not on the invoice.
I am reliable and trustworthy. Honest as well, too honest at times. That has probably cost me the odd job over the years and I would still rather be that way round.
We are the real deal. No conmen, and we get the job done.

City & Guilds certificated
City & Guilds certificates in rope and harness work, and in chainsaw forestry work. Climbing and cutting done to the standard the job actually calls for.
Mostly just me
Most jobs I work on my own. On the bigger ones I bring in subcontractors I know personally and trust. Nobody sets foot on your property that I wouldn't have in my own garden.
Left clean
Customers tend to say the same two things about us. That we get stuck in and work hard, and that you wouldn't know we'd been there once the area is tidied up.

Based in Derbyshire and out across the region most days, on tree work, plastering, landscaping and maintenance, for homeowners and commercial sites. If you're near any of these areas we'll come and take a look, and the quote is free either way.
